Padubidri Bunts Association's "Sneha Sammilana"
Padubidri, April 2nd, 2017: Inaugurating the "Bunta Sneha Sammilana-2017" programme at Padubidri Buntara Bhavana on Sunday, Mr. K. Prakash Shetty, the president of Padubidri Shri Mahalingeshwara Maha Ganapathi temple renovation committee and the chairman of MRG Group Bangalore called upon people to work unitedy irrespective of caste, creed and religion. "Everyone should extend their helping hands. The renovation of the temple has to be done successfully with everyone's cooperation and serve God unitedly," he said.
Capt. Kriti Jitesh Shetty of IndiGo Airlines, the first ever woman pilot from Bunts community, was felicitated along with Mr. Pramod Hegde, the managing director of Meditech Mangalore. Responding to the felicitation Capt. Kriti Shetty said, "Padubidri is like my heart and I love coming here. We have many opportunities in life. If we choose the right ones and proceed with self confidence, success will be guaranteed."
Presiding over the function, the president of Padubidri Bunts Association, Mr. Manohar Shetty, said that the bunts community will give full cooperation in renovating the Shri Mahalingeshwar Maha Ganapathi temple."
Bunts Association working committe members Mr. Mithun R. Hegde and Mr. Sudhakar Shetty Hejmady were also felicitated for serving in many organisations in various capacities.
Mangalore Mediscan Diognostic Centre's Mr.Naveen M. Shetty, Bunts Association's Sirimudi Datti's Honourary president Mr. Santhoor Bhaskar Shetty, Bunts Welfare Trust president Y. Shashidhar Shetty, Bunts Associagtion secretary Dr. Manojkumar J. Shetty and Women's wing president Mrs. Askhatha Surendra Shetty were present on the dais.
Dr. Deviprasad Shetty, the president of Grama Panchayat Presidents' Okkoota, welcomed the guesrs. Santripti M. Shetty compered. Treasurer Mr Sharat Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
