Valuables worth Rs 1.35 lakhs stolen from a house in Admar
Padubidri, Dec. 27th, 2015:  Thieves managed to open the latch of a house in Admar while the people inside were asleep and managed to take away cash and jewellery worth Rs 1.35 lakhs.  The incident took place on Saturday morning near Admar Poornaprajna PU college, in a house belonging to a person called Janardhan.  The thieves took away a 25 gms gold chain, a 20 gms karimani chain, 20 gms plain gold chain,  3 gms of ear rings and Rs. 3000 cash
Mr. Janardhan was staying with his wife and had gone to sleep after securing the front door latch. When he woke up in the morning around 5.45 am, he found the front door ajar with the broken latch.  Taken aback, he inspected the house and found the wooden cup board in the bed room open and the valuables stolen. 

Padubidri police were informed immediately and the dog squad which arrived from Udupi went sniffing upto Admar bus stand.  The police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
