Padubidri Shri Mahalingeshwara Mahaganapthi temple's Annual Mahotsava - 2013
Annual Mahotsava of Shri Mahalingeshwara Mahaganapathi temple will be held from March 14th to March 22nd. On Thursday, March 14th, "Dwajarohana" at 9.30 am. On Thursday, March 21st, "Rathaarohana" will be held at noon and there will be "Anna Santarpane." On the same night, "Maha Rathotsava" will be celebrated. Next day (Friday) traditional game of "Chendu" will be played in the evening and at night there would be "Dhwajavarohana."

Additionally, from March 14th to 20th, every evening from 6.30, Nagaswara and Saxophone will be played.
Fri. 15/03/2013: "Yakshagana Bayalata" at 10 pm.
Sat. 16/03/2013: Cultural programme by Padubidri Tulunada Artists, at 10 pm.
Tue. 19/03/2013: Cultural programme by Autorickshaw Drivers & Owners Association, at 10 pm.
Thu. 21/03/2013: Harikatha Kaalakshepa, morning 10 am.

Padubidri, March 21st, 2013: Hagalu Rathotsava was held on account Annual Mahotsava of Shri Mahalingeshwara Mahaganapathi temple on Thursday. Around 6000 people took part in the Sarvajanika Anna Santarpane.

Padubidri, March 22nd, 2013: Thousands of devotees gathered at Shri Mahalingeshwara Maha Ganapathi temple for the Ratri Maha Rathotsava. The chariot and the temple was beautifully decorated during the occasion. Brilliant display of fireworks started around 11.40 pm and could be seen from a long distance.

The chariot and the temple was beautifully decorated during the occasion. Brilliant display of fireworks started around 11.40 pm and could be seen from a long distance. On Friday, March 22nd, traditional game of "Chendu" wasl around 4 pm and at night, there was Ratri Dhwajavarohana ceremony.
