"Aatidonji Dina" celebrated at Padubidri Buntara Bhavana
Padubidri, August 1st, 2016:  "Aatidonji Dina" was celebrated by the women's wing of Padubidri Buntara Sangha on Sunday, July 31st, at Buntara Bhavana.  Inaugurating the function, District Lioness Coordinator, Lns. Nirupama Prasad Shetty said that while 'Aati' is celebrated everywhere showing the importance of the month of Aati, the importance of Sona should also be made known to our younger generation.

Padubidri Buntara Sangha president Naveenchanda J. Shetty was the chief guest and in his address he said spreading awareness about our culture among our young generation is the purpose of Aati celebrations and it should be celebrated in each and every household rather than being restricted only to the dais.
Padubidri Buntara Sangha member and the vice president of Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Sheela K. Shetty Yermal  was felicitated along with recently elected Belman Zilla Panchayat member Reshma Uday Shetty Inna.
Mahila Sangha president Shobha Jagadheesh Shetty presided.  Vice president Rajeevi R. Shetty, Buntara Sangha secretary Jaya S. Shetty Padramane and treasurer Vishukumar Shettybal were present as chief guests.  Manoj Shetty compered.  Anitha Shetty, Suma Shetty and Rashmi Shetty recited prayer song.  Secretary Akshatha Surendra Shetty gave introductory speech.  Treasurer NIdhi Sharath Shetty introduced the guests and Sumangala Suresh Shetty proposed vote of thanks.

Around 20 kinds of Aati delicacies were served during the occasion.
